Good morning, friends! I hope you’re enjoying the start of spring wherever you are. As I’m writing this, it’s currently warm and 72 degrees, but it was about 50 degrees and rainy two days ago, and the forecast is calling for a high of 48 degrees this weekend. Word of advice: If you don’t do well with weather changes, don’t move to Delaware. (Obviously, I’m kidding. Delaware is the greatest place on earth, and of course you should move here. #firststateforlife)
For the past few weeks, I’ve been working on a new study – it’s a little different than what we’ve done before, but it’s something I’m really looking forward to. Starting on April 18th, we’ll begin our Courageous study.
If you’re thinking “where the heck is the Book of Courageous in the Bible?!,” don’t worry; you’re not going crazy. Instead of SOAP’ing through a specific book, we’re going to look at the stories of ten different Bible characters and the common thread that tied them together: their courage.
Do you ever feel like you need a bit more courage to get through life? Ever want to challenge yourself to pray more courageously, act more courageously, live more courageously? Me too. And the ten people we’re going to study over the next two weeks have serious levels of courage. Their stories will inspire us, encourage us, and leave us turning to the One who ultimately supplies all the courage and strength we need to get us through any situation.
Sneak peek: Our study kicks off with one of the earliest courageous leaders in the Bible – Moses. You don’t want to miss it! Join us on Monday morning (new blogs are up by 5 a.m. daily) or subscribe below to get the devotional delivered straight to your inbox.
Let’s do this!
